Our team gave back to our local community in at least two significant ways:
Our annual “Take Your Kids to Work” day was a great success. Staff invited their Grade 9 children, grandchildren and friends to accompany them for a day at work. The students were shown what working at Colt might be like, and how their studies could affect career choices. It was a fun and informative day that offered students and staff a chance to learn from each other.
Our United Way organizing committee is to be congratulated for their hard work. They devised some ingenious and fun activities to raise money for this worthwhile cause.
Staff Golf Tournament – August 2006
This year’s event attracted record numbers of staff and their guests, and both novice and seasoned golfers enjoyed the challenges and delights of the Highlands Golf Club.
Potluck Lunch – October 2006
Again this year, the Potluck Lunch was a tremendous success. Our diverse team offered their colleagues mouthwatering treats that originated from over 30 countries. Good food and laughter were in abundance. The hard working clean-up crew who transformed the boardroom back to its original state have our sincere appreciation!
Children’s Christmas Party 2006
Santa visits the children of Colt every year, but somehow the excitement of his arrival never wears. After games and treats, Santa made his appearance, and everyone went home in good spirits.
Staff Christmas Party 2006
Each year, Colt Toronto holds a staff party to celebrate Christmas and the successes of the year. Staff and their guests enjoyed good food and good cheer at this annual event.
