The Energy Partnership has helped SWC achieve the following:
- Develop an Energy Management Plan 2004 – 2010
- Develop an energy efficiency strategy capable of saving further energy consumption, greenhouse emissions and energy costs
- Implement a corporate strategy to maximize the benefits of the New South Wales Greenhouse Gas Abatement Scheme
- Complete a range of small projects which have resulted in multi-million dollar savings
- Implement a new operation and maintenance arrangement for SWC’s existing cogeneration plants
- Technical and commercial implementation of a range of new embedded power generation assets (biogas and mini-hydro)
