The customer retained WorleyParsons to delineate the spatial extent of potential chloride impacts around a former flare pit at a site operated by a major oil company.

EM31 and EM38 electromagnetic surveys provided a plan view of the extent of potential impact and the necessary targets for an electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) survey to delineate the depth extent.

Using this data, a volume was estimated and provided to the customer to assist in follow-up soil and groundwater investigations.
