The Cliff Head reservoir has a waxy, high pour point crude oil and very low gas-to-oil ratio which, along with the requirement to cater for the water injection requirements, presented unique design challenges. This was also a fast track project with first oil targeted 14 months from start of detailed design and procurement. WorleyParsons’ design overcame the unique challenges associated with this particular waxy crude.
