WorleyParsons RSA is pleased to announce the award of a contract for the engineering, procurement and construction management services (EPCM) of the Shondoni Mine Development for Sasol Mining Limited located near the Sasol 2 synfuels complex in Secunda, in the province of Mpumalanga, South Africa. WorleyParsons will perform its services under the contract over a period of 45 months. The Shondoni mine will deliver 9.2Mtpa of steaming coal when in full production.
EPCM contract award
The project will be executed entirely from within South Africa. The EPCM stages for this contract will entail detailed engineering services of the surface infrastructure facilities, the mine development and materials handling as well as procurement services and construction management.
