QGPC have awarded the Front End Engineering and Design contract for the Bul Hanine Arab C Gas Recycling Project to Worley Qatar. The project is to be executed in Qatar in association with Ranhill Worley KL and Worley Offshore Pipeline group Melbourne.

The new offshore facilities will be designed to produce 300MMSCFD from 14 new wells on existing facilities (or one new wellhead platform), provide gas/liquid separation, dehydration, condensate stabilization and gas compression facilities on a new process platform and re injection through 4 new injection wells on existing platforms. The scope also includes intra-field pipelines and a new utilities platform to support the process facilities including power generation, living quarters and control room.

The project represents the first major offshore project to be awarded to Worley to be executed in Qatar. The success of the tender has been as a result of the close cooperation between Ranhill Worley, Worley Qatar and the full support of the Australian operations. The success of the project and the new office in Qatar will rely even more heavily upon this support and the utilization of our global execution systems. Congratulations to Keith Fay in Qatar and John Etherington in KL on their success.
