Black Swan presents a broad ranging program including the creation of new work, contemporary international works and reinterpretations of classic plays that reflects life in Western Australia.
Black Swan has also created a new commissioning program to invest into Western Australia’s creative future and showcase Western Australian stories. The Company also runs a professional development program for emerging Western Australian artists.
As the resident theatre company in the new State Theatre Centre of Western Australia,Black Swan aims to produce theatre of exceptional quality that celebrates life, while entertaining and enriching the hearts and minds of all Australians.
The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia Western Operations (RFDS) is a not for profit organisation that provides emergency aeromedical patient transfers and essential health services to people living, working and travelling throughout Western Australia and in Australia’s Indian Ocean Territories. The RFDS has been in operation in Western Australia since 1935.
The RFDS operates from 5 bases in Western Australia – Jandakot, Kalgoorlie, Meekatharra, Port Hedland and Derby. Each base is staffed with five full-time pilots, three doctors and five nurses and provides a 24-hour, seven day a week emergency response as part of a state-wide system.
RFDS aircraft fly over 4.4 million kilometres in WA each year utilising a fleet of 11 aircraft rotated among the five bases. The service operates 365 days a year and evacuates more than 5200 patients with injury and illness from across the State every year.
WorleyParsons is proud to sponsor the inauguralMid West Aboriginal Art Award in 2011.
In conjunction with the Geraldton Regional Art Gallery in Western Australia, the Mid West Aboriginal Art Award is an initiative that encourages Indigenous artists to paint and enables their works to be seen and appreciated by local people as well as visitors from far and wide.
As well as assisting Aboriginal artists, the Award is helping to strengthen and foster relations with the community of Geraldton-Greenough.
In conjunction with Oakajee Port and Rail, WorleyParsons is pleased to sponsor this annual art exhibition that showcases contemporary and traditional works by Indigenousartists from the Mid West region of Western Australia.
The initiative provides direct support to Aboriginal communities in the region and makes a significant difference to the lives of the artists.
Proceeds from the sale of the artwork provides a financial boost to Aboriginal people in the regional and remote communities in the Mid West and helps to create a long term future for the artists.

The annual Redhill Concert in Western Australia is a Rotary Club of Geraldton-Greenough initiative and WorleyParsons is proud to be a Premier sponsor in 2011.
Redhill is one of Rotary’s major fund raising initiatives that raises money to aid in the building of capacity of the youth through a variety of Rotary supported causes including its Youth and Vocation Program.
This program is an important program in developing skills and providing further opportunities for the youth of the Mid West region.
